Steeda's S197 Mustang adjustable Panhard bar features 4130 chrome moly alloy steel construction, not just ordinary
mild steel like the factory piece and other aftermarket offerings and is a great step towards improved handling over
the factory supplied non-adjustable Panhard bar.
In keeping with Steeda's motto "Weight is the enemy of performance", thanks to our 4130 chrome moly alloy steel
construction our adjustable Panhard bar is over 40% lighter than the factory Panhard bar and over 30% lighter than
our competitors. It also features a larger bushing design for durability, precise handling, and no increase in
noise, vibration, and harshness.
Benefits include easy on car length adjustment through our CNC machined chrome moly steel alloy adjuster to adjust
rear end offset, this is especially important if you run much wider wheels and tires and want to make sure their
offsets look correct. Our CNC machined chrome moly threaded inserts are precisely engineered to provide an easy
adjustment and are far stronger than mild steel. Included urethane bushings will reduce flex and improve the Panhard
bar's control resulting in better steering response and handling balance.

Adding the Panhard bar brace stiffens the Panhard bar chassis mounting bracket which is prone to flex under load
during high cornering loads. Not sure if you need to replace the factory Panhard bar brace? Put your car in the air
